Welcome, you powerful being.
Even though I may not know you personally, I know you are worthy of love. I know you are a gift to humanity. And I know you probably need a dedicated cheerleader, a loving advocate. I know you are me, and I am you. We are healing, growing, loving, falling down, getting back up again. We are a force that can change the world. We are who we have been waiting for.
In my dream we use challenges and adversity to choose love over fear, and clear action over confusion. We hold hands across nations, across religions, across divisions. We weave a web of acceptance, respect, love, forgiveness. We show up as ourselves, fully.
It’s time to bring the real you forward. Not who you think you are supposed to be or who you wish you were. There is nothing like unexpected situations and times of transition to become who you were meant to be.
Sound good to you? Then join in an Inner Revolution.
Brain Boundaries 101 (Or how to kick the social media habit)
Recently I found myself getting more and more compulsive around checking the news.
“What if I miss something?” “What has changed now?” “What else is happening?” My brain got busier and busier, wanting to know everything, afraid of missing out.
Three days into my scrolling frenzy I had to do an intervention on myself. I could feel the silky, strong pull of social media and the news; the siren call of the internet luring me into turbulent waters. It sounds so innocent, that song of seduction: “Stay informed, check up on all your friends, you don’t want to miss out, what is happening now?”
But there is a cliff and a long drop into murky waters on the other side of that lying lyric.
