Tools to get through the mess without sacrificing or abandoning yourself
Carrying the weight of the world and still trying to show up? The Warrior Heart Practice gives you a way through — without shutting down, burning out, or losing yourself in the process. Watch on your own time. Work at your own pace.
The world is heavy right now.
Not metaphorically — actually, physically heavy. People in our community described their nervous systems as overloaded.
They talked about feeling empty, hollowed out, paralyzed, while simultaneously still showing up. For their families, their communities, their causes.
Still trying to be a source of something good.
If you're the person everyone else leans on, that weight has a new layer to it right now…
It's not just your own life you're carrying. It's the fear for your children, your community, what's happening to people you'll never meet but grieve anyway.
You’re waking up to a new crisis every day, checking the news while you’re still in bed and feeling the weight of it settle onto your chest before your feet hit the floor.
Exhausted from trying to stay informed without being consumed. From trying to care without losing yourself. From holding space for everyone around you while quietly running out of your own.
And underneath all of it: the fear that if you slow down long enough to actually feel it, you might not be able to get back up.
What You're Feeling Is Real
You're not imagining how hard this is. Please don’t let them gaslight you into believing that what you feel isn’t real.
You are not overreacting. You are not being dramatic.
One in five people in our community named the state of the world — the political climate, the daily weight of the news, the quiet dread that never quite goes away — as the thing that's actively making it harder to be themselves.
You don't want to go numb. You want to stay engaged, stay caring, stay yourself…
That's the harder thing. And that's exactly what we're here for.
There's another way through. And it's more accessible than you think.
"Before the Untangle workshop, I would get lost in either a tornado of emotional debris or a cacophony of stories, and in some of my worst moments, both. That left me wanting to be anywhere but in my skin. Now, I better understand the chaos that can awaken inside me and feel excited to have a skill that's both grounding, healing, and helps me better understand my triggers."
Natosha
"Before the workshop, I frequently asked myself, 'What is wrong with me that I am still grieving and not done with this yet?' I was so tired of experiencing a broken heart, I just wanted it gone by any means — including stuffing and ignoring my emotions.
The workshop helped me realize I was also grieving my own health issues, my early forced retirement, loss of my sexual partner, loss of purpose. Acknowledging that my grief also included family and world grief allowed me to be more gentle with myself. Since the workshop, I have sweetly said 'hello, sweetheart' while hugging myself every day. I can hold my grief and my joy simultaneously and allow each the attention needed.
This was truly life changing for me — it provided insight during the workshop and tools to use after. It introduced me to a community that showed up at exactly the right time for me."

This Is What Untangle Is
Untangle is a recorded workshop designed to give you real, practical tools for navigating hard times, without shutting down, burning out, or abandoning the parts of yourself that matter most.
When the world gets scary, most of us default to one of two modes:
- We take on too much — absorbing everyone’s pain, trying to fix what can’t be fixed, running on adrenaline and outrage
- We check out — numbing, scrolling, avoiding, while feeling guilty that we’re not doing more
Neither one is sustainable.
Here's what it looks like in practice: You read something in the news and feel that familiar tightening in your chest. Instead of scrolling past it or spiraling into it, you pause. You name what you're feeling and where you feel it. You ask: is this mine, or am I carrying something larger? You find the truth — one sentence, no story attached. And you choose where to put your energy next. That's the practice. That's what we're building together.
Because what you need aren't more strategies for managing the chaos…
You need tools for recognizing what's actually yours to carry and what isn't. Practices for feeling the difference in your body, not just thinking it in your head. A way to identify where you can take meaningful action and where holding on is only draining you. And the inner resources to actually do it — without guilt, without shutting down, without abandoning the parts of yourself that make you, you.
Because when you have that, you don't just cope. You find your way back to yourself so you can respond with clarity instead of reacting from fear.
Here's what we mean by practical tools:
You'll leave this workshop knowing how to feel the difference (in your body, not just your head) between what's yours to carry and what isn't.
You'll have a simple framework you can use the same afternoon when something triggers you, a relationship strains, or the news cycle pulls you under again.
You'll know how to name what you're feeling, locate it in your body, and move through it — instead of pushing it away or being pulled under by it.
Why This Workshop
When we asked what people needed most, the answers were consistent: clarity, tools they could actually use, and a way to stop living in survival mode. That's what this is built for.
You'll leave with:
- A framework for working through hard moments — something you can actually use when you're in it, not just in hindsight
- A felt sense of what's yours to act on and what you can set down
- Practices for your nervous system including simple healing movements and creating an inner sanctuary
- Clarity on where to put your energy — and where you've been leaking it
This isn’t a lecture. It’s a guided practice session. You’ll leave with tools you can use the same day.

What's Inside
In this recorded workshop, HeatherAsh Amara and Sarina Harz-Tolbert will guide you through The Warrior Heart Practice:
- The Feeling Chamber: how to be with what's alive in you without being consumed by it
- The Story Chamber: identifying the narratives running your nervous system right now
- The Truth Chamber: separating what's real from what your mind is making up
- The Intent Chamber: finding your one clear next step when everything feels urgent
- What's yours / what's not yours: a somatic practice for feeling the line
- Compassion vs. enmeshment: how to stay open-hearted without hollowing yourself out
The Untangle recording includes seven video segments you can watch in sequence or return to individually. Here's what each one covers:
Part 1: The Feeling Chamber
What you're actually carrying, and how to be with it.
- Segment 1: Welcome & The Practice Overview
- Segment 2: HeatherAsh's Story — The Practice in Real Life
- Segment 3: The Feeling Chamber — Teaching & Guided Practice
HeatherAsh opens with the origin of the practice and a clear map of all four chambers so you understand where you're going before we start the practice. Then she moves through her own story in real time, showing exactly what the practice looks like from the inside before you've tried it yourself. The third segment takes you into your first guided experience of the Feeling Chamber.
Part 2: The Story & Truth Chambers
What your mind has been telling you — and what's actually true.
Segment 4: The Story & Truth Chambers — Teaching & Guided Practice
HeatherAsh and Sarina guide you through two full chambers, giving yourself permission to see the stories you've been living inside, and then finding the simple truth underneath them. This is the part of the practice that tends to surprise people most. The truth is almost always simpler than the story. And finding it changes everything about how you respond to the situation.
Part 3: The Intent Chamber, Circling Back & Integration
Where you put your energy — and how the practice becomes complete.
- Segment 5: Sarina's Story — Using the Practice When Her Mother Was Dying
- Segment 6: The Intent Chamber, Circling Back & Full Group Practice
- Segment 7: Participant Reflections, Q&A & Closing
Sarina opens with her own story, how she used the practice on a plane ride to be with her mother as she was dying. From there HeatherAsh leads you through a complete practice on something happening in the world right now, all four chambers and circling back. The final segment brings it home: participant shares, questions answered, and Sarina's closing that ties the whole experience together.
"A lot of what I learned was about creating a relationship with myself that I didn't have before. When you can be honest with yourself and come home to yourself, that gives you the ability to go out in the world in a different way — to be curious, not only about yourself, but about how you navigate and react to life."
Deirdre O'Neill
“I am so grateful to HeatherAsh and the Pixie team for the opportunity of reclaiming lost parts of myself and growing into the Goddess I am becoming. The love and friendships I am developing were an unexpected bonus, but have given me a new "life" support system!”
Pamila
“I learned we really can’t do it alone. Having a sisterhood of women sharing, supporting and witnessing each other allows for new possibilities and reminds us we are not alone in our challenges.”
