It’s midday and you are happily walking to an ancient site through boggy grassland blanketed with purple heather, yellow buttercups, and maroon clover…
The wind at your back carries sound away so you move wordlessly and determinedly through the rugged terrain of the Isle of Lewis.
Up ahead the outline of ancient standing stones appear suddenly and your heart lifts with deep, unbidden familiarity. Drawn in by the energy of this place you pick up the pace, feeling the soft ground bouncing under foot as if to propel you forward.
The land is connecting you with ancestors who walked the same path millenia ago and who, today, seem to lead you home...
THIS IS WHAT I'VE BEEN LOOKING FOR!
Have you been searching for an experience to take you deeper into healing with your ancestors?
Do you have a craving to connect with land, the ancient ways, and find wonder in the mundane?
Are you wanting to build your capacity to touch in with your intuition and learn to trust yourself?
A pilgrimage to the wilds of Scotland is the key.
For this pilgrimage, together we will invite three inner guides to be your support team…
WILD: your creativity, curiosity, adventurer energy… the aspect of you that is innocent and playful and believes that everything is possible. Your Wild guide will be the one who says “Let’s keep going – that was amazing” when you’re exhausted from travel, got a little lost on the streets of Edinburgh, and feel a bit precarious about the gatekeepers you’ve met on the way.
WILLING: your stabilizing, nourishing, and generative energy… the aspect of you that births and raises children, projects, businesses, and communities. Your Willing guide reminds you to look at the top of the grassy hill and where you’re going, to put one foot in front of the other and take breaks and eat snacks when you need to.
WISE: your visionary, intuitive, and patient energy… the aspect of you that listens deeply and holds the big picture. Your Wise guide is the one who brings things into perspective and reminds you we’re in SCOTLAND. They invite you to relish in the awe of being here and taking this time for yourself while also doing spiritual work to heal generations backwards and forwards.
Your journey will be a unique adventure where we move through various parts of Scotland doing ceremony at sacred sites, partaking in Scottish food, and sleeping in a myriad of accommodations.
This pilgrimage IS for you if you are:

- An avid hiker (or wee distance walker) and ready for a rugged adventure in bogs, green hills, fields, farmland, and rocky beaches

This pilgrimage IS NOT for you if you are:
- Looking for a tourist experience of Scotland
- Seeking a luxurious retreat on the beach with an umbrella in your drink {our accommodation will vary from castles and yurts to hostel bunks}
- Unable to climb fences, disinclined to hike through bogs, and are prone to mobility challenges {you must be able to walk 3 miles on uneven rugged terrain}
- Unwilling to wear a raincoat or don’t like getting gently misted or downpoured on by Scottish weather {Scotland might offer rain medicine every day for 11 days}
- A god/goddess walking on the earth and have all the answers to the universe
- Responsible for saving everyone on the trip
- Looking for ‘parents’ to project issues onto {this trip is called a Pilgrimage for a reason… your attitude will make or break your experience}

A Glance at Our Itinerary
Meet up and greet the others who are stepping onto this ancestral pilgrimage together in Edinburgh, Scotland on the afternoon of July 23rd. Then we will drive via group transportation to the wilds of eastern Scotland in the lower highlands of Angus. Here we’ll spend a few days at remote sacred sites and visit a castle to ground in together and set the tone for our pilgrimage.
Then we will journey north up to the Black Isle, stopping along the way at standing stones and other historic places for heart-centered insight into the terrain, magic, and landscape we are traversing both inward and outward.
On the Black Isle we will spend a couple of days in lush group accommodations with local guides to show us how to connect with ancestors through ancient practices made accessible for our modern times.
Then our journey will continue by ferry to the Outer Herbies of Lewis, Harris, and Skye. We will spend 4 days in this area visiting both abandoned and tourist abundant sites creating pathways between the miraculous and mundane.
We will end our journey by traveling through the Highlands down to Glencoe and end our final day in the afternoon with high tea in Edinburgh.
**We recommend flying out the following day or staying a few days extra so you are not rushed out of the depth of our pilgrimage sanctuary into a travel whirlwind.
Give Yourself Permission

How do you know if this pilgrimage is right for you?
It’s simple.
You sense it in your spirit and soul.
You hear the calling. You feel the pull.
Signs.
Synchronicities.
A curiosity you can’t explain.
However, you’d describe it, these cues from the universe are telling you:
There is something potent and powerful for you here.
That’s why there are no obstacle course tests or 10-page applications for joining the Scottish Highlands and Hebrides pilgrimage. You don’t need experience in ancestral wisdom, shamanic practices, or ceremony. You don’t need Celtic ancestry. You don’t even have to explain what it was that drew you here.
The universe led you here for a reason. Discovering why is part of the ever-unfolding adventure. So if it feels right, we welcome you to walk this pilgrimage with us.
